Love shoes?

Then head on over to The Hub in Sleaford to see the exhibition 'A Personal Collection of Vivienne Westwood Shoes'. Soooooo many weird, wonderful & wacky shoes in one place with some stunning fashion photography to boot! Get it... boot... shoes... ahem!

The Hub has several exhibitions on at the moment, all of which are worth a wonder round, not to mention their lovely Craft Shop & Tea Rooms too. Go on... take a venture and spy on some spectacular shoes!

"A Personal Collection of Vivienne Westwood Shoes opens at the National Centre for Craft and Design on 29th January 2011 (closing 2nd May 2011), featuring an opulent display of footwear by the doyenne of British fashion, Dame Vivienne Westwood. Westwood, best known for the creation of punk fashion with Malcolm McLaren in the 70’s, has a reputation for innovation in design, often using traditional styles and materials in surprising ways.

This exhibition is based around a collection of shoes amassed over the past 15 years by a private collector. It spans the entirety of the designer’s high fashion career, from the 70’s onwards, and showcases some of the most innovative and iconic examples of her work in shoe design."
